Pair of ceramic vases by Portuguese artist Jorge Mealha. Each has a rounded body, a narrow neck and applied horns that give it the appearance of a bull’s head.
The mottled ochre and brown glaze varies between the two pieces. Small modelled details below the horns add to their individual character. Displayed together, they form a closely matched pair.
